MSSO Training

The MSSO is the only officially authorized provider of MedDRA. As such, it is uniquely qualified to provide training to help organizations implement MedDRA in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

The MSSO offers training sessions to MedDRA subscribers and individuals. Courses are regularly scheduled and are available in various delivery methods, e.g., face-to-face sessions and webinars.

Participation in these sessions is available to all. Registration details and fees are defined for each. See the Course Schedule for course dates and registration forms.

FREE Training for Subscribers
The MSSO offers two free courses: Coding with MedDRA, and MedDRA Safety Data Analysis and SMQs. You must be a current subscriber to attend. Classes are filled on first come, first served basis. Attendance is limited to two persons per class per organization.

Additionally, the MSSO offers subscribers two free webinars: MedDRA Coding Basics and a webinar version of the Introduction to MedDRA Data Analysis and SMQs for Physicians.

There is no registration fee. All travel costs are the responsibility of the attendee.

Data Quality, Coding and MedDRA Presentation
The Data Quality, Coding and MedDRA Presentation (.ppt) is available free of charge.

This presentation provides a tool to help improve the quality of initial data. The presentation includes a discussion of the importance of collecting quality data related to MedDRA coding and analysis. "Place holder" slides allow you to customize with your own company-specific data collection and reporting conventions; this feature can be a very useful adjunct for investigator training.

Certified MedDRA Coder (CMC) Examination Training -
A service of Northrop Grumman Information Systems. The CMC Examination Preparation course is designed to aid examinees as they prepare to take the CMC Examination.
