  Legacy Database Migration

The ongoing adoption of the MedDRA terminology on a worldwide basis - spearheaded by regulatory authorities in the US, Europe, and Japan - can pose many challenges for legacy database migration for organizations in the biopharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical informatics industries that their extensive databases of clinical information, coded with their own terminology and nomenclature systems or with COSTART©, WHO-ART©, ICD-9©, and other standard terminologies, must be converted to MedDRA.

There is an efficient, cost-effective way to meet these challenges. The MedDRA MSSO is offering services to facilitate and accelerate the migration of existing databases to the MedDRA environment.

The MSSO team, with its unmatched combination of technical expertise and MedDRA knowledge, has worked closely with all sectors of the biopharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical informatics industries. Team members are fully skilled in MedDRA training and implementation and all that this implies in terms of legacy migration.

If your organization is involved in medical product development, related safety issues, and/or the comparison of new safety information with data from legacy information systems, you should learn more about MSSO legacy migration services.
