Only core services subscribers may request changes to the MedDRA terminology. Suggested changes are first validated as medically correct and verified by an international panel of medical professionals before incorporation into the terminology. Change requests may be submitted on the following basis:

• Up to 100 requests per month per subscriber
• Generally acknowledged within 24 hours, all within 48 hours
• Generally notified of supplemental change within 7 working days, all within 10 working days; on-line access to supplemental changes
